Almost History is a family owned business now with two charming locations. Wayne and Blanca have been associated with gift shops for many years. Wayne's parents operated "Armors Hearth and Home" in Delaware for 52 years so he has an extensive background in store management. In addition, Wayne and his brother are accomplished craftsmen and have been building custom Colonial and Primitive furniture for many years. Comments from friends and relatives about these pieces led to the custom designed furniture business. Almost History started with a small 14' by 17' rented shop in Chesapeake City in March, 2002. They quickly outgrew that space in March, 2003 and moved to the current location. Blanca is the decorator and works closely with the customers on the selection of accents, the colors and coordination of interiors.
We truly enjoy working with our customers and seeing their joy when they discover how they can bring a part of our history into their present surroundings. We love to help our customers solve a decorating problem or find the "just right" accent for their homes.
